About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a creative and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead the marketing and promotional efforts for our large conferences and expos. This role is perfect for someone passionate about event marketing and eager to make a significant impact.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Craft and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to boost awareness and registration for our conferences.
Website and App Management: Oversee all aspects of the event website and mobile app, ensuring they are user-friendly and effectively communicate with potential attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors.
Digital Marketing: Execute targeted digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media marketing, and pay-per-click advertising, to reach relevant audiences.
Media Relations: Collaborate with our Public Relations team to secure media coverage for events.
Promotional Materials: Develop and manage promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and e-blasts to promote the event across various channels.
Exhibitor Management: Oversee the exhibitor recruitment process and manage the exhibitor prospectus.
Sponsorships: Develop and manage sponsorship packages and secure sponsorships to support the event.
Data Analytics: Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using data analytics tools, reporting on effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
Collaboration: Work closely with the event planning team to ensure all marketing materials and messaging align with the overall event theme and objectives.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in marketing event management or a similar B2B environment, with a proven track record of successful marketing campaigns.
Digital Marketing Skills: Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, including SEO, SEM, and social media marketing.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in marketing automation and analytics tools. Experience with content marketing is a plus.
Independence: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
