DURABLE North America is managing our fast-growing business in the US and Canada with an office close to Chicago and an annual turnover aiming for $10 million USD

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Marketing in line with the US business’ objectives.
• Develop and define North American Brand Strategy and Marketing Plan in line with the global Marketing Plan.
• Refine and execute Online and Offline Key Customer Marketing Campaigns by working with internal and external sales teams supporting the growth of the accounts.
• Transfer the global marketing plan with all product launches into the US business and develop new business targets.
• Define the US Category mix and identify gaps in the overall assortment.
• Lead the execution of social media and email marketing strategies; manage the Durable US websites and support in developing content.
• Create marketing presentations for customer meetings and international reviews.
• Monitor the KPI’s of US marketing communications.
• Manage the US marketing budget.

Working together:

• Support Sales with the development of new business channels and existing customers.

• Working with a cross functional team including customer service and external partners – outside sales representatives and warehouse team.

• Cooperate closely with all departments in Germany and international counterparts in Marketing.

• Participate in international Marketing meetings in Europe.

• Customer interface through Trade Shows, meetings, and training sessions.

• Entrepreneurial thinking and decision taking.

• Knowing the cultural peculiarities of working internationally.

• Ability to transfer a global strategy into local conditions as well as operational hands-on mentality, give direction.

• Strong organization, project management, and multi-tasking skills.

• Excellent communication skills – written, presentation, and interpersonal.

• Experience in managing relations with external parties like agencies.

• Creative and proactive mindset with a positive attitude.

Professional experience and qualifications

• 3+ years of Marketing experience in the B2B environment (Hospitality, Facility Management, Industrial Supplies preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree required with major in Marketing.
• Extensive knowledge in using Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Google+.
• Advanced application of electronic equipment, including but not limited to, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, SAP.
• Must be able to lift & carry 10-20 pounds.
• This position includes travelling – also internationally, up to 20%.
