Watts is looking for a results-oriented Marketing Manager who will lead the development of marketing initiatives to accelerate the scaling and user adoption of our Nexa SaaS platform. In this role, you will partner with colleagues across the organization to develop marketing strategies, articulate a vision, and lead the team toward achieving goals. You will need to think both strategically and tactically as you execute integrated marketing plans & campaigns, ensure brand consistency, increase awareness, engage customers & markets, grow the user base, use data to continuously improve results, and ultimately support SaaS revenue growth.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy including positioning, audience definition, competitive analysis, and execution roadmap to grow Nexa SaaS platform
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaign plans that support business objectives and drive awareness & growth
- Oversee campaign planning, scheduling, budgeting, creative production, KPI reporting, and refinement
- Manage the creation and execution of digital/automated lead nurturing campaigns that include lead scoring, list segmentation, testing, and analytics
- Brainstorm and action new and creative growth strategies
- Manage trade show/event execution including pre and post-event promotions, booth presentation, coordination of industry media, and lead follow up with Sales
- Research and manage strategic marketing partnerships
- Develop thought leadership content for use in marketing campaigns
- Liaison with Training team to develop in-person and online training content
- Coordinate with customers on VOC and testimonials
- Manage third party vendors as needed to execute marketing objectives
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 7 years experience in Marketing or Marketing Communications
- Highly encouraged, 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing
- Experience with strategic marketing operations, brand marketing, product marketing, advertising, or multi-branded marketing
- Strong knowledge of the digital and offline marketing landscape and how they interrelate
- Experience with AARRR funnel, and up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SaaS marketing
- Demonstrated experience with marketing campaign planning and best practices
- Demonstrated success in developing and launching marketing campaigns on time and on budget that deliver results
- Demonstrated experience executing trade shows and events, advertising, and digital marketing activities
- Superior project management and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, such as Marketo, a plus
- Up to 20% travel
MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISION:
- No direct reports, but this role will manage third party vendors as needed
