About the Role:
The YES
Network, the #1 Regional Sports Network and App in the country, seeks a
passionate, outgoing, creative, and data-driven Marketing Manager to join its
team in NYC. Working collaboratively, this position supports all consumer,
affiliate, partner, and sales marketing efforts for YES Network. Working with the Lifecycle and performance
marketing manager this position will lead short and long-term planning for
linear and digital streaming customer acquisition and retention.
This individual
will be responsible for executing consumer-facing marketing initiatives while
serving as a liaison with key stakeholders, including internal departments (ad
sales, production, digital, PR), profession sports team, distribution, and
programming partners, as well as third-party agencies and vendors.
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
Consumer/Fan
Engagement:
·
Development of brand, tune-in, and YES App
TVE/DTC data-driven subscriber acquisition and retention annual marketing plan
and resulting campaigns across paid media and YES’ owned and operated channels.
·
Project Management: Flawlessly manage, calendar,
communicate, and execute both B2C and B2B marketing campaigns across internal
YES creative agency, performance, and lifecycle marketing to ensure proper
runway and resources are available, including agency and vendor sourcing. Work with Director
of On-Air Promos
to help ideate and organize big marketing launch campaigns.

Team Partner Asset and Relationship Management: Works closely
with each NBA/MLB
team and content partners.
·
Consumer Promotions and Events: Identify, create,
coordinate, and track all consumer and sales promotions; including idea
creation, execution, premium procurement, and on-site supervision.
·
Results accountability: Manage campaign ROI using
first-party subscriber and all available data to optimize efforts in real time.
·
Intern Management: Oversee
and manage marketing interns; including selection
and workload delegation/management.
Advertising
and Sponsorship Sales Support:
·
This position is responsible for working with
Business Development, Product and Sales teams to identify, ideate, and package
unique sponsorship opportunities for key categories as well as nontraditional
clients.
·
Update and manage
sales collateral including
decks, one-sheets, infographics, sizzle reels and
digital media kit. Work on year-round, category specific “Unique to YES”
concepts and events.
·
Co-produce Annual Spring Training trip for
clients and partners.
Affiliate
Marketing:
·
Work closely with Distribution Team to prepare
and manage marketing/digital assets for all
distribution partner
marketing efforts. Work with on-air promotions and research teams to build
presentations and aid efforts when needed.
Ideal Candidate:
·
3-5 years previous
agency, TV, subscription streaming service marketing and/or
professional sports team experience is desired.
·
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
·
Strong organizational and project management skills are required.
·
Superb oral, written,
and interpersonal communication skills are required. The candidate must be able to lead conversations and
provide excellent, professional email communication with local team partners
and business/community organizations.

Must be creative
and have ability
to communicate creative
ideas to others.
The ability to multitask and work effectively with
changing priorities and deadlines is essential.
·
Superior attention to detail is needed as well as excellent relationship building skills.
·
Strong knowledge of regional sports
teams and thorough
understanding of media
landscape with working knowledge of sports, including MLB and NBA is
required.
·
Knowledge of Microsoft
Office applications, including
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is necessary. Knowledge of Photoshop is preferred.
·
Basic knowledge of the latest
graphics and editing
hardware and software
is needed.
