Position Summary:
US Motor Works, LLC, a leading supplier in the independent automotive aftermarket, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Marketing Manager to oversee all marketing initiatives, drive brand awareness, and support sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in developing and executing strategic marketing plans, managing tradeshows, and implementing both push and pull marketing strategies to engage our target audience effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Messaging
• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company’s sales and growth objectives.
• Craft and manage consistent messaging across all communication channels to strengthen brand identity and market position.
• Identify and target key customer segments, including distributors, jobbers, and technicians, ensuring tailored messaging for each audience.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.
Daily Job Activities
• Manage day-to-day marketing operations, including content creation, email campaigns, social media, and advertising initiatives.
• Oversee the design and distribution of promotional materials, product catalogs, and technical brochures.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including sales, product development, and operations, to align marketing efforts with business goals.
• Analyze marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.
Tradeshow & Event Management
• Plan and execute US Motor Works’ presence at major industry tradeshows, including booth design, product displays, and promotional activities.
• Coordinate pre-show and post-show marketing campaigns to maximize lead generation and brand visibility.
• Represent the company at industry events, fostering relationships with key stakeholders and gathering market insights.
Push Marketing Strategies
• Develop B2B campaigns and promotions aimed at distributors and jobbers to drive product adoption and loyalty.
• Implement training programs and provide marketing support to channel partners to increase product awareness and sales.
• Create incentive programs for distributors and retailers to promote product placement and inventory stocking.
Pull Marketing Strategies
• Launch targeted digital campaigns to build awareness and demand among end-users and technicians.
• Leverage SEO, PPC, and content marketing strategies to attract leads and drive traffic to the company’s website.
• Engage with the end-user community through social media, forums, and other platforms to foster brand advocacy.
Collaboration & Leadership
• Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Partner with sales teams to align marketing efforts with regional and national sales goals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in the automotive aftermarket or related industry.
· Proven experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media management.
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
· Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM platforms).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
· Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt to changing market conditions.
· Experience with budget management and ROI analysis.
