Our Financial Services client has a HOT need for a Marketing Manager with a focus on go-to-market plans with up to 5 years of experience to join them on a 12-month contract starting in November.
Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
- Creative idea generation as well as tactical planning in support of identified business initiatives: Develops tactical plans to support and position specific investment capabilities or initiatives.
- Given budget, resources, and analysis of the competitive landscape draws on appropriate marketing tools (content, road shows, speaking opportunities, webinars, sponsorships, PR, web) to promote and differentiate identified strategies and/or initiatives.
- Analyzes and monitors relevant industry trends and draws on investment and market knowledge to make informed recommendations and decisions.
- Manages the development and execution of integrated investment marketing campaigns: Drawing on investment and market knowledge, as well as marketing and project management skills, manages the execution of engaging, timely and integrated campaigns to support marketing efforts.
- An important focus is on data and KPI metrics related to GTM efforts including engagement pre- and post-events. The use of Tableau to keep track of such data will be necessary.
- Developing social posts for LinkedIn participants; overseeing the content on the Americas institutional website (IDE); managing the content on the monthly Insurance-focused emails and the fixed income content on the Americas bi-weekly emails.
- Communicates campaign and content strategy: Informs relationship managers around ongoing GTM efforts thru participation in various Americas team meetings (Sales, Consulting, Client Service).
- Ad Hoc Projects: Supports various ad hoc marketing projects and initiatives as appropriate including being the Americas representative on cross business unit efforts (i.e., Global Market Outlook / Mid-year Market Outlook).
Marketing Manager Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience that combines marketing, communications and investments preferably with an investment management firm
- Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
- Base knowledge of institutional investment strategies and portfolio positioning
- Knowledge of financial markets and investing
- Marketing and project management related experience
- Intellectual curiosity and knowledge of current trends in the Institutional marketplace
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated, creative, responsible, with excellent attention to detail
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Familiarity with investment or financial services industry
- Team-oriented with an ability to execute
- Ability to interact and work collaboratively with senior investment professionals and executives
- Experience with LinkedIn, email, and digital marketing strategies
- Proficiency with Tableau and Salesforce
- Familiarity with Adobe Suite and AdMaster
- Extensive experience working in the institutional asset management field, particularly with fixed income products
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, marketing or communications
