RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Summary: The Marketing & Graphic Design Specialist is responsible for managing & executing all leasing marketing needs and supporting the Leasing & Marketing Teams with the implementation of shopping center marketing initiatives. Leasing marketing projects include but are not limited to Property Capsule, brochures, presentations, proposals, and email blasts. Property marketing strategies are focused on driving traffic to the RED portfolio of properties that support and increase retailer sales by engaging the communities through key events, digital and press initiatives, and business development with local, regional, and national sponsorships. In addition, this position provides support for special projects under the direction of the EVP of Leasing. This role is in the corporate office based in Phoenix, AZ.
Leasing Marketing
- Produce & graphic design high-quality, marketing materials customized for the property and existing tenants or prospective tenants using RED brand standards to include but not limited to brochures, presentations, and proposals.
- Research housing data, demographic data, psycho graphic data, jobs data, employment data, traffic counts, etc.
- Write content as it relates to research data for marketing materials.
- Manage & create content on Property Capsules for all properties in the RED portfolio.
- Create/manage photo files, maps, and aerial photos for all properties and each vacancy as they become available.
- Create custom site and merchandising plans.
- Source photographers and manage all aspects of new architectural photography projects.
- Create email blasts as requested by Leasing team; manage the database and all aspects of the Klayvio email account; report analytics to Leasing team.
- Lead & manage vacant window graphic needs across the portfolio; create leasing signage and vacant window graphics for each property or work with design agency as determined based on project need.
- Create, monitor & track unique QR codes for leasing signage and materials.
- Develop, track and manage all the Leasing Marketing budgets for each property; including invoice coding, processing & approving.
- Pull and analyze Datex sales reports for tenants as needed to inform marketing strategy decisions and campaign recaps.
- Monitor and manage lead gen and general leasing Outlook email account inquiries and responses
- Responsible for management of all marketing aspects of company’s participation at ICSC conventions throughout the year.
New Developments
- Manage rendering galleries, updates and boards as needed for presentations and events.
- Collaborate with brokerage partner(s) on development of new development branding, brochures and collateral needs, email blasts and website updates.
Property Marketing
- Graphic design projects as needed using RED brand standards or property brand standards to include but not limited to:
- Directory design & ongoing updates
- On property campaign signage
- Digital assets for property campaigns, events, promotions and partnerships
- Create, monitor & track unique QR codes for property signage & collateral materials.
- Collaborate with Marketing Team for development of Quarterly Marketing Reports for all properties, to include but not limited to:
- New tenant grand opening support
- Leasing marketing initiatives & vacant window graphics
RED Corporate Marketing
- Graphic design projects as needed for RED Corporate branded presentations, brochures, templates, collateral, and video needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree plus 3+ years of related to Marketing or Graphic Design. Commercial real estate and/or related retail/shopping center marketing experience a plus.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign; Adobe Illustrator; Adobe Photoshop; Microsoft Suite and Canva
- Ability to learn RED’s custom I-pad application, ESRI, Sites USA and CoStar applications
- Knowledge of database and real estate property management applications helpful
- Demonstrated project management ability
