Eaton’s Electrical Sector is hiring a Marketing Director, Software Solutions in Moon Township, PA or Menomonee Falls, WI.
Relocation is offered for this position. This position requires 25% travel.What you’ll do:Job SummaryEaton’s Protection, Control and Solutions Group (PCS) is seeking a Marketing Digital to develop and grow PCD’s software business. This person will report directly to the Vice President, Marketing for PCS.
The Marketing Director leads a team of product managers in developing and executing a strategy for growth through new and existing software and analytics-based offerings.
You will spans strategy, market segmentation, new business development, competitive analysis, pricing models, and technical solution definition.
You will collaborate with various Eaton leaders to have a significant impact on the profitable growth of PCS, there is strong potential for career development.Job ResponsibilitiesIn collaboration with division product marketing leaders, define and support a Group-level software and solutions strategic plan to drive profitable growth targeting the OEM, Industrial, Data Center, Energy Transition and other key marketsAlign the wider organization around a solution-level roadmap that considers the PCS-wide product portfolio and encompasses hardware, software, and service revenue streams.Create and adhere to approved budget and resource planning requirementsAlign with product management, sales, AEs, Engineering, Digital Office and other internal departments to ensure alignment to priorities and goals, create recurring revenue business models and drive proper execution to deliver growth targetsDevelop and manage strong technical and commercial relationships at key customers as well as internal and external ecosystem partners Proactively collect VOC (Voice Of Customer) and use to develop an opportunity pipeline to meet aggressive revenue targetsAct as a ""digital advocate"" championing the PCS strategy, while working to remove barriers to success for the teamStrong leader needed with focus on professional and functional development of software-centric rolesQualifications:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is requiredMinimum 10 years of progressive Commercial (Marketing or Sales) experienceMinimum 3 years of sales or marketing software-based offeringsBasic understanding of electrical distribution systemsMust be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:Minimum 7 years experience with sales or marketing software-based offerings Master’s degree is preferredManagement of people experienceData Center Segment experienceSkills:Proven track record with software product management or sales of XaaS and/or Internet-of-Things offerings;Successful performance in product definition, Go-to-Market planning, competitive benchmarking, business justification, new product launch and building customer relationshipsHighly influential, cross-functional leader with exceptional communication and executive presentation skillsAbility to think and act strategically and make solid decisionsAbility to work in a matrix organization, in virtual teams (across different locations), and cross-cultural environments Ability to learn, articulate, and support complex products and technologiesEmotionally intelligent leader who excels in development of othersAt Eaton, we strive to provide compensation and benefits that attract, engage, and retain the best talent.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $153749.97 - $225499.96 a year.
 This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
