POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of the job is to manage the customer flow, admissions process, and marketing program for the community. Responsibilities include guiding the marketing program which ensures strong customer, referral, and payer satisfaction, appropriate market penetration, positive public image, and maximization of community profitability and census goals. The Marketing Director will primarily and regularly be engaged away from the communication location in hospitals engaging in sales and marketing efforts to secure referrals to the community. Follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and community Policies and Procedures.
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College education in the field of healthcare administration, business management, marketing, and/or public relations is preferred.
- Must have an unrestricted driver’s license.
- Must be able to communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must possess and demonstrate the ability to carry out both verbal and written directions.
- Must possess and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers and community staff in the performance of duties.
- Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position/assignment.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a healthcare setting.
