Marketing Manager, Distribution Marketing & Business Development

Candidate pool is lacking MS Office Suite as far as Publisher. Seismic is a bonus but can be trained on it. They will be managing their own projects and doing the work as well. Must be organized and able to manage several projects at once.

Overview Of The Role
The Marketing Director will serve a key role on the Distribution Marketing & Business Development Initiatives team, supporting multiple ongoing projects and programs across the business. These will include Seismic platform content maintenance and reporting; submitting marketing content for Compliance approval on behalf of distribution partners, refreshing product content on web properties, and supporting Operations marketing needs for targeted distribution partner campaigns. This position will work closely with internal business functions including Product Marketing teams, Sales, Thought Leadership, Media, Communications and Digital.
The Marketing Director position requires a unique blend of creative thinking, tactical execution and strong communication and writing skills. The Marketing Director plays an instrumental role in helping *** Financial develop and execute strategic marketing plans to meet the annual sales goals.
Essential Job Functions
• Support inventory maintenance of Compliance-approved marketing materials on our Seismic mar-tech sales enablement platform in partnership with internal Distribution teams
• Collaboratively edit product customer and advisor facing content (including product marketing copy and required disclosures) with a focus on SEO
• Assist with developing and building Seismic digital sales rooms in collaboration with Sales and compile weekly analytics reports.
• Manage and submit collateral approval requests to internal Compliance and focus firms and maintain record keeping
• Collaborate and assist with Operations for website functionality campaigns.
• Provide direction to creative partners in the development and execution of marketing materials.
• Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
• 3-5+ years of professional marketing experience
• Knowledge of Annuity products preferred
• Highly self-directed and motivated with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and an ability to work in collaboration with other business unites.
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Demonstrated success in project management, from conception through planning and implementation
• Ability to cope with change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
