Position Summary:The Marketing Copywriter is responsible for developing and executing textual content for both internal marketing and external client education communication materials.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce clear, concise, and engaging content for a variety of communication materials, including enrollment guides, press releases, and web content.
- Collaborate with the team to develop sales and marketing materials.
- Participate in content reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency, revise content as necessary until final approval.
- Actively engage in briefings and presentations, sharing ideas with internal teams and clients.
- Strategize and interpret data from past projects to define new content approaches.
- Contribute to the development of tools and processes that improve productivity and effectiveness.
- Work closely with designers, account management, and project managers to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of client pieces.
- Ensure all copy adheres to style guidelines and is free of spelling, grammatical, and factual errors.
- Update and maintain case files/notes in Salesforce and other platforms as required.
- Collaborate with the Compliance department to ensure materials reflect current regulatory changes and IRS guidelines.

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English, creative writing or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience creating, editing and proofing copy in a minimum of two of the following mediums: print, email, web
- Experience working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative and adaptive environment
- Expert in versatile projects - from long form, headlines and CTAs, to UX copy and copy that drives action
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present solutions and secure stakeholder buy-in.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, web-based applications, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Relevant work experience may substitute for educational requirements.
