Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties has a full-time opportunity for a Marketing Copywriter in Anaheim, CA.
The Marketing Copywriter is a creative thinker with a strong command of language and the ability to craft compelling copy that resonates with our target audience. As a Marketing Copywriter, you will be responsible for developing engaging content for various marketing channels, including but not limited to website copy, blogs, social media content, email campaigns, advertising, and marketing collateral. You will work closely with the Marketing team to ensure that all content is aligned with our brand voice and messaging strategy. This position will report to the Marketing Project Manager, will be highly visible, and will work in close collaboration with multiple stakeholders across platforms and functions.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
Minimum Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a marketing copywriter, preferably in a similar industry/sector.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of marketing content (e.g., website copy, blogs, social media content, email campaigns, advertising).
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with impeccable attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and keyword research tools.
- Ability to work effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
- Being a creative visual thinker, brainstorming with a team, and proposing unique solutions
- Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and meet deadlines
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with people from varying backgrounds and areas of expertise
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Organized and process-driven, familiarity with Trello or other project management tools a plus
- Equal understanding of Apple and Windows platforms
Language Requirements/Preference:
- Bilingual (Spanish) a major plus.

- This position may require travel to other sites and locations; if using a personal vehicle to meet this requirement, a valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance in compliance with the minimum requirements of CA vehicle code are required

- Develop creative and engaging copy for marketing materials, including website content, landing pages, service descriptions, blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, advertising, and marketing collateral.
- Develop content strategies that align with our brand identity, target audience, and marketing goals in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and target audience preferences to inform content development.
- Review, edit, and proofread all content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Autonomously optimize content for SEO to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to our digital platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in content marketing, copywriting, and digital marketing trends.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of content across various channels and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams, including creative, digital, and project management, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
- Establish and maintain solid relationships with cross-functional departments and colleagues to determine project specifications.
- Coordinate approvals and communicate effectively during all steps of a project.
- Maintain the server and upload most up-to-date files and projects.
- Ensure brand consistency in trademark and tone.
