Job Summary
The WEI Marketing Coordinator will serve as a pivotal support role within the WEI marketing department, assisting in the execution of diverse initiatives that promote WEI's brand and services. The coordinator will support event logistics, from invitations to post-event follow-ups to data entry, while overseeing administrative tasks such as maintaining the marketing calendar and tracking ongoing budgets. This position also involves managing social media content, optimizing digital assets, and maintaining marketing tools like HubSpot to ensure accurate and engaging campaigns.
When needed, the coordinator will contribute to content development, video production, and online marketing strategies to enhance WEI's thought leadership and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Event Marketing
- Coordinate invitations, landing pages, registration forms, and post-event surveys for workshops and events.
- Collaborate with the sales team to track attendees and manage event logistics.
- Support venue bookings and ensure proper communication with attendees.
Budget and Logistics
- Track and organize credit card charges, GL codes, and related marketing activities.
- Manage shipping and organizing promotional swag for events and sales requests.
- Coordinate show materials, signage, and other assets needed for trade shows or sales events.
Administrative Support
- Maintain the Outlook marketing calendar with accurate dates, times, and locations of events.
- Update and manage marketing event data in the company's Event App.
Partner Programs
- Track social media initiatives and proof of performance for key partner campaigns.
Social Media Management
- Develop and manage a rolling content calendar for promoting WEI's thought leadership (e.g., tech briefs, white papers, videos, solution briefs, podcasts).
- Create engaging social media posts showcasing WEI's culture, events, and industry insights.
- Design and execute employee and customer engagement campaigns, including contests and special events.
- Monitor and adapt to changing social media trends, incorporating AI tools for content creation, as needed.
Digital Content & SEO
- Optimize blog posts with relevant stats, quotes, callouts, and WEI CTAs (e.g., videos, podcasts, related articles).
- Review and prepare blogs weekly for publication, ensuring quality and layout consistency.
Website & Landing Pages
- Build and manage HubSpot landing pages for various content types (e.g., tech briefs, videos, case studies, podcasts).
- Ensure all landing pages align with SEO best practices and brand guidelines.
Content Development Support
- Produce and edit video content for partner programs and marketing initiatives.
- Write and proofread content efficiently under tight deadlines.
HubSpot Management
- Regularly update and maintain contact and account data, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Create and manage workflows, deduplicate data, and map correct contact/account owners, as needed.
- Develop re-engagement campaigns for unengaged contacts.
Required Skills & Experience
Education and Professional Background
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven track record of delivering strong results in marketing products and services.
- 1-2 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably with industrial or technical product marketing.
Marketing Expertise
- Demonstrated experience in online marketing, including website maintenance, email campaigns, online advertising, and social media management.
- Familiarity with HubSpot CRM is a significant advantage, including workflows, campaign management, and contact database maintenance.
- Proven ability to write, proofread, and edit marketing content with strong attention to detail.
Digital and Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign).
- Experience in digital ad platforms such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager or Google Ads is preferred.
- Experience with marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics and social media monitoring platforms is preferred.
