Position Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing initiatives, event planning, and digital marketing campaigns. Key Responsibilities:
- Event Coordination:
Assist in the planning and logistics of various marketing events, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish. This includes managing schedules, coordinating with vendors, and overseeing on-site activities. - Inbound Request Tracking:
Monitor and track inbound requests related to events, sponsorships, and Chamber of Commerce members, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups. - Ticket Distribution:
Support the distribution of tickets for sporting events and other company-sponsored activities, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely delivery to participants. - Digital Marketing Campaign Assistance:
Aid in the execution of digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, and website as needed. Help with content proofreading, scheduling, and performance tracking. - Marketing Asset Organization:
Maintain and organize marketing assets, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and easily accessible for the team. This includes managing digital files, brochures, and promotional items/swag. It also entails conducting an annual review of key marketing materials to ensure they are current in terms of content and brand standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in marketing, event coordination, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with digital marketing tools (e.g., social media platforms, email marketing software).
- A proactive and adaptable attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility and the ability to pivot quickly between various responsibilities and tasks, often shifting focus as business needs evolve.
