Marketing Coordinator
Cowan Systems is looking for a detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to help build out our Marketing team. You will work closely with several internal departments (Marketing, Recruiting, HR and others) to create and implement campaigns, projects and ongoing initiatives. While reporting to the Director of Talent Management, you will be managing the day-to-day administrative needs of the Marketing department.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate, manage and execute Cowan’s content marketing & social media initiatives.
- Create graphics, write compelling copy and manage digital, print and physical assets.
- Execute digital marketing campaigns via social media.
- Responsible for the planning, design, content collection and delivery of Cowan’s monthly corporate newsletter (digital) as well as ongoing updating of the SharePoint Intranet.
- Day-to-day administrative tasks (invoicing, ordering materials, scheduling photo & video shoots, etc.).
- Working with all third-party vendors
Skills/Requirements:
- 1-2 years of marketing experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in planning & executing effective content marketing initiatives; e-mail marketing a plus.
- Solid understanding of Graphic design concepts; spacing, typography, etc.
- Familiarity with social media marketing (organic and paid ad campaigns a plus).
- Technologically proficient; ability to edit and manage WordPress websites.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Skilled in written and verbal communication
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively
