What You'll Do
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across various channels to raise awareness about the organizations’ mission, programs, membership and fundraising initiatives.
Engage members, volunteers, donors and supporters while maintaining a consistent brand image through compelling content and strategic communication tactics across platforms, including websites, social media, and advertising.
Build public support and engagement through effective storytelling and impactful messaging.
How You'll Do It
Strategic Communications Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications plan aligned with the organization's mission and goals;
- Identify target audiences and create tailored messaging to reach them effectively;
- Conduct research to understand the landscape and identify opportunities for outreach.
Content Creation and Management
- Generate engaging content for various platforms including website, social media, newsletters, press releases, and blog posts;
- Develop compelling narratives highlighting the impact of the organization's programs and success stories;
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and graphics.
Digital Communications
- Manage the organizations’ websites and ensure functionality and content are up-to-date;
- Execute social media campaigns across platforms to increase visibility and engagement;
- Utilize email marketing strategies to nurture relationships and appeals.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing and communications campaigns
- Analyze data to identify trends and make adjustments to strategies as needed
Qualifications Needed
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field and minimum 5 years experience in non-profit marketing and communications
- Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms and analytics
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
- Strong knowledge of web design; content management systems and analytics tools.
- Effective project management skills including ability to organize work, engage in various tasks simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
