Search is on the hunt for an enthusiastic and skilled Marketing and Communications Manager to lead and elevate our marketing efforts across programs, social ventures, and fundraising initiatives. Based at our Lincoln Park location in Chicago, IL, this full-time position offers an exciting chance to collaborate with a dynamic team and make a difference.
Job Details:
Location: Chicago, IL (Clybourn site)
Salary Range: $60,000–$66,000 annually
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM, with flexibility for some evenings and occasional weekends as needed.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive our marketing and communication strategies across social media, print, digital content, email campaigns, and PR.
- Lead creative marketing plans that deliver measurable results and align with our mission.
- Build and manage engaging social media content to connect with our community.
- Oversee newsletters and other communication channels to share program updates and events.
- Collaborate on events like our annual fundraiser, *Trailblazers*, and other exciting initiatives.
- Design visually appealing content using Canva and collaborate with videographers to tell inspiring stories.
- Track, analyze, and optimize marketing performance for continuous improvement.
- Manage our e-commerce site for Planet Access, a social enterprise that supports our mission.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a professional marketing/communications role.
- Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media tools.
- Experience with email marketing, website management, and analytics.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to build strong relationships across departments.
