Marketing Communication Specialist
A Marketing Communication Specialist, is a professional who coordinates the development and design of a company's promotional materials, intending to sprad brand awareness and assist the marketing team.
They create messaging strategies and marketing campaigns to teach consumers more about the company and its products. Marketing communication specialists may handle online and offline promotional resources and manage the business's social media content across channels. This role requires professionals to use their creativity, adapt to consumer preferencees and create innovative content.
Marketiing Communication Specialist will complete tasks that support the organization's overall marketing initiatives. Should have the following responsibilities:
- Designing and creating online marketing content, including newsletters, brochures and promotional emails.
- Collaborating with designand public relations to create whiite papers, infographics, and marketing videos.
- Tracking and recording the performance of marketing campaigns and presentimng this information to the marketing department.
- Identifying the effectiveness of marketing material by tracking metrics including conversion rates, customer loyalty, and customer satisfaction.
- Reviewing and analyzing consumer data to analyze effective marketing strategies and successful ways to increase brand awareness.
- Assisting the return on investment (ROI) for marketing campaigns.
- Networking with potential customers and industry professionals to grow brand awareness and promote the company products.
- Contacting and maintaining relationships with the decision makers and marketing teams for existing and new groups that are onboarded.
- Setting up onsite visits, workshops, in-person seminars, on-line webinars with all existing and new groups on a monthly basis.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate clearly with various departments including graphic design, public relations and advertising, as well as vendors, contractors and freelancers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for representing organizations in public, during media events and product launches, product demonstrations and while participating at trade shows.
- Project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously. Being familiar with project management software is also an asset.
- Good computer skills for generating reports, viewing marketing metrics, extracting data and sharing this information with other team members in project updates. Working knowledge of basic computer applications, programs and features is a must with experience in web page development or graphic design.
- Having the ability to provide information on previous campaigns, projects and timelines overseen and implemented in order to demonstrate overall capabilities.
- MUST have superior customer relations phone skills.
- Hub Spot, CRM, Eventbrite, Mailchimp, Zoom experience and proficient with Microsoft 360.
****NOTE: Although Graphic Design is a responsibilty of the position, we are not seeking a Graphic Designer, all other responsibilities of the role must be met.
