Job Summary:
Our client is local to Kansas City and is a full-service architecture and engineering firm that specializes in the design of Public Safety, Senior Living, Municipal/Government, Education, Recreation, Industrial, Office/Workplace, Healthcare, Financial Institutions, Multi-Family, and Hospitality projects throughout the region. Marketing & Business Development Director Requirements:
- Strong skills and experience with Adobe Suite, notably InDesign and Photoshop.
- Strong skills and experience with Wordpress and creating/maintaining web site content.
- Strengths for success: strong interpersonal and communication skills, design and creative skills, tip of the spear proactive nature and instincts, having a spirit of inquiry and determination, strong planning and organizations skills, meeting deadlines, follow-up with clients and partners.
- Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business development, and graphic design.
- 3-5 years of relavent experience.
Marketing & Business Development Director Responsibilities:
- Working with principals, identify, cultivate and secure project opportunities through direct outreach, trade shows, partners, EDCs and our other business organizations.
- Lead RFQ process within our firm and coordinate all engineering and other needed specialty partners. Responsible for all RFQ content and managing process including client engagement, submittals and interviews.
- Working with our principals, identify strategic partners in our top project types. Includes consultants, other specialty service providers, suppliers and others.
- Develop strategy and all content to keep our website updated with our most current and significant work and other branding content.
- Maintain strong relationships with our EDC partners to ensure we secure targeted projects and see the needed ROI from our memberships.
- Develop strategy and all content, coordinate and attend trade shows to support our efforts in top markets. Currently we attend six trade shows per year.
Architectural Designer Compensation:
- Negotiable depending upon experience.
