Marketing Assistant
Stanbridge University is seeking a motivated and proactive individual to support its marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Marketing Director and Operations Manager, the Marketing Assistant will play a vital role in supporting creative and effective marketing initiatives. The right candidate must have the ability to help seek solutions through critical thinking, take initiative to support the team, and maintain a positive attitude.
Essential Functions:
- Collect marketing data on a weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly basis
- Assist in conducting market research surveys and reports to support marketing initiatives
- Support implementations of digital and non-digital advertising campaigns
- Update weekly and monthly email lists
- Assist with email campaign deployment and tracking
- Update monthly marketing event calendars on the university’s website and online profiles
- Conduct routine review on out-of-home print advertising for maintenance
- Assist with Social Media monitoring, engagement tactics, and research
- Assist with monitoring and updating online profiles and reputation for the university
- Archive campaign history
- Additional tasks as assigned by Marketing leadership
- Tasks and responsibilities may evolve as needed
Work Environment:
- Standard office/classroom/lab or clinical setting.
- Typically, duties are performed in an office/classroom/Lab/clinical setting environment while sitting at a desk or computer workstation.
- Work environment may include skills lab or bedside environments and required by program.
- An incumbent is subject to contact with others, frequent interruptions, noise from talking or office equipment and demanding timelines.
Physical Demands:
- The incumbent regularly sits for long periods.
- Physical ability to perform the duties as assigned to the program or department.
- Proficient in operating electronic keyboards and other office machines.
- Effective verbal communication skills in answering telephones and providing information with clarity and distinctness.
- Ability to read fine print and operate computers with precision.
- Ability to understand voices over the telephone and in person.
- Able to lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing between 10-25 pounds as needed.
