Join our Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) team and you’ll directly support and promote our brand and reputation. Through internal communications, public relations, and corporate communications, you’ll provide a wide range of marketing and communications services to internal and external audiences, including current and future clients, employees, alumni, regulators, and the media.
The opportunity
You’ll have the opportunity to develop and implement the region’s marketing strategy and initiatives for the respective area industry and functional practices. You’ll oversee the successful implementation and quality of the area’s go-to-market marketing initiatives.
Your key responsibilities
- Develop marketing strategy and manage the marketing budget while tracking the ROI of the marketing initiatives.
- Oversee all events, mailings, newsletters, media, PR, and sponsorships to ensure alignment with the area’s strategy.
Skills and attributes for success
- Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal project stakeholders and build trust with journalists and other media outlets.
- Adept at creating strategic, targeted, and impactful go-to-market initiatives.
- Possess relevant market insight respective to your function and a comfort level working across service lines, industries, function areas, and client groups.
- Strong understanding of environmental factors affecting the firm, the practice, and our markets.
- Ability to participate in market research projects.
- Adept at coordinating the creation of area marketing collateral and brochures to ensure they are appropriately leveraged and delivered.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Seven-plus years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with a marketing or communications major or equivalent experience; MBA is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including presentations) as well as listening and interpretation skills.
- Ability to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward, concise, and easily digestible manner for broad audiences.
- Possesses poise and confidence to professionally interact with all levels of leadership.
- Ability to oversee significant portions of major or highly complex projects.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Ability to team and collaborate with practice, industry, and other firm leaders to develop market-facing initiatives that drive the firm’s strategy.
- Ability to work independently on marketing initiatives.
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills including the development of others.
- Ability to work with anchor service line or industry representatives to tailor directed thought leadership and serve as a coordinator for its production.

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $96,300 to $180,100. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $115,600 to $204,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

Our expectation is for most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
