Our client is searching for a Marketing Technology Manager to join its growing Marketing Technology team. Marketing Technology is responsible for enabling and consulting on targeted marketing efforts across the portfolio of products. This position is responsible for using intimate knowledge of customer data and marketing tools to work with our marketing clients to understand and consult their campaign strategy, advising on campaign development, creating, and segmenting the audiences for their campaigns, and ensuring the needs of the business are met. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver, an active listener, and will ask pointed questions to ensure alignment on requirements.
TOP SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Must be a strong SQL Coder with Data Mining Skills (Understands complex coding processes, i.e. joins-inner & outer, aggregating data, building temp tables, formatting data, and import & export processes).
2. Experience in List Management or lead generation: can work well with business clients to gather requirements and successfully translate requirements into code.
3. Ability to think outside of the box and excel in problem solving.
4. At least one-year experience in Unica/IBM preferred.
5. At least one-year experience in Marketing Campaign Management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to write SQL queries in a large database environment
· Must be a strong SQL Coder with Data Mining Skills (Understands complex coding processes, i.e. joins-inner & outer, aggregating data, building temp tables, formatting data, and import & export processes)
· Experience in List Management or lead generation: can work well with business clients to gather requirements and successfully translate requirements into code
· Ability to work independently and within teams with a focus on detail and can work on several projects at the same time
· Ability to think outside of the box and excel in problem solving
· Experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Unica
· IBM Unica Campaign Management experience (UNICA is highly preferred; however, the client is open to alternate tools such as Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot Marketing Hub, Oracle Eloqua, IBM Watson Campaign Automation, Marketo Engage).
· 2+ years’ experience in campaign targeting tools
· Possess outstanding computer skills and be proficient using Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
· At least one-year experience in Marketing campaign management or list generation
· Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent, or 3-5 years related experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Salesforce Marketing Cloud: journey building, audience segmentation, email/SMS Studio
· Ability and drive to do data research on questions without receiving specific directions
· Background in CRM or direct marketing, with a strong aptitude for project management
· Demonstrated strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills, especially as related to CRM campaign design
· Prefer experience with Palantir
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Adeptly facilitate meetings to capture requirements
· Provide recommendations and valuable insights to clients to assist with the design and development of the targeted marketing request and campaigns
· Create use cases and test scenarios as needed to communicate the approach and validate the solution
· Develop functional specifications and system design specifications in conjunction with marketing, legal and other consultative roles
· Advanced SQL coding skills, to understand campaign GUI back-end processing & for troubleshooting
· Perform quality checks on other team member’s campaign with 100% accuracy
· Independently manage campaigns from inception to implementation
