We are seeking a highly skilled and data-driven Marketing Analyst to join our Cordis team to focus on driving revenue and market analytics and insights within the dynamic medical technology industry. In this role, you will analyze commercial and product revenue trends, conduct market share and modeling studies, collaborate with global teammates, and provide actionable insights to inform business strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, financial acumen, and technical expertise to deliver high-quality insights through intuitive dashboards that shape decision-making at senior levels.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive commercial and product revenue analytics to identify trends and support strategic planning.
- Perform market share analysis and market modeling to evaluate opportunities for growth and improve competitive positioning.
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial and market models using Excel and other analytical tools.
- Research and synthesize industry trends, pricing strategies, and market conditions to provide actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing and finance teams to assess regional and global revenue opportunities and develop insights on product performance.
- Develop professional, visually compelling presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Support cross-functional projects to align on strategic goals and gather input for revenue-driving activities.
Expected Areas of Competence
- Analytical Expertise: Proven ability to interpret complex data sets and deliver clear, data-driven insights.
- Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial statements, revenue trends, and key business metrics.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel for modeling and analysis; familiarity with other analytics tools is a plus.
- Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to accuracy and data integrity.
- Problem-Solving: Capable of tackling complex challenges with creative, actionable solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to create and deliver concise, impactful presentations for senior audiences.
- Collaboration: Comfortable working across teams and regions to drive alignment and share insights effectively.
Education / Experience / Certifications:
- 2+ years of related experience in Consulting, Banking, or Analytical fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in operations, finance, engineering, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
- Proven ability to interpret complex data sets and deliver clear, data-driven insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for modeling and analysis; familiarity with Alteryx a PLUS.
- Combination of years of experience / education will be considered.
- Travel Requirements: 15-20%
