About the Job
This position will be part of the Beckman Coulter Diagnostics North America Sales team and serve as an important role to organize and qualify prospective opportunities to integrate into a Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) database.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and determine appropriate contact information from prospective target list.
Engage with prospective customers to understand current state within the laboratory and qualify them as a prospective sales opportunity through a provided criteria.
Input customer data into CRM (Salesforce.com) for tracing purposes
Notify field sales teams about the opportunity and address questions with the sales team
General maintenance, organization and uploading of data into CRM (Salesforce.com)
Manage other sales and marketing projects
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or any science related field
Demonstrated excellent planning/organizational skills
Deadline driven
High energy, self-starter with bias toward proactive problem solving with a sense of urgency
Able to perform well in a fast-paced, metrics driven environment
Skilled communicator including excellent listening skills
Technically proficient in Microsoft office applications
Familiarity in Salesforce.com
With support as needed, manage multiple projects that vary in complexity
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Internship or professional office experience
Background in customer service
