About the Job
Provide the company and it's clientele with both primary and secondary market research and strategy support in developing and maintaining a competitive market position with an array of information and data that will help identify opportunities for growth. Work with Association marketing Managers to identify information needs and gather necessary data using both primary and secondary market research methods to recommend marketing strategies, campaigns, and E-Commerce activities. Collect and analyze data, prepare reports of findings, illustrate data graphically and translate complex findings into written text. Develop Association customer and market analysis and report with a series of routine customer tracking reports as well as develop ad hoc reports as requested
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts Primary & Secondary Market Research
- Conducts primary and secondary market/customer/product/competitor research for various stakeholders.
- Collects/analyzes market data and provides reports.
- Provides reports to Associations and internal customers on regular cadence accurately and timely.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research relating to current and future products, customer satisfaction, market testing, and other measures to improve quality and sales within marketing
- Monitor market to recognize market trends/competitor strategies and outlook/unmet customer needs/other issues that impact marketing
- Building and maintaining a Qualtrics-based Customer Experience dashboard and reports.
Marketing Strategy/Data analysis
- Provides analysis of reports to inform marketing strategies to drive company initiatives. Supports the marketing department in monthly, quarterly and annual metrics for distribution to ACA marketing teams and CEOs. Tableau development to support automation and enhanced reporting capabilities to ACA marketing partners. Management and oversight of the Qualtrics platform to support ACA survey deployment and analysis.
General Support
- Provide support to the department and leadership through reporting and analysis. Provide general support as needed to support the goals of the department. Manage vendor relationships and contract renewals.
Other Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building strong, collaborative relationships with leadership and departmental groups. Responds accurately and timely to Association specific ad hoc requests, partners with other members of Marketing team to deliver quality support.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field
Prior Work Experience:
- Three years in market research data analysis
Other Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of statistics and market research methods. Experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Tableau and Qualtrics knowledge and experience preferred.
- Demonstrate above average skills in Excel.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work in a highly complex and fast changing environment; ability to persuade, negotiate or influence
- Ability to present to large groups (inclusive of executives).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge in SQL Server databases and SQL scripting to update databases preferred.
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis.
