A LITTLE ABOUT US The San Pedro Square Market, located in the heart of downtown San Jose, is a vibrant public market with over 20 unique vendors made up of retail shops, eateries, and bars. The ultimate meet-up spot, the market features the historic Peralta Adobe open-air plaza, a sidewalk cafe, as well as three interior spaces. Palisades Hospitality Group manages four unique bar concepts located in San Pedro Square Market: Market Bar, Market Beer Co., Three Sisters, and Alma Tequileria. WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A MARKET FLOOR MANAGER & EVENT COORDINATOR? As the Market Floor Manager and Event Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the business and delivering exceptional customer service. You will have the opportunity to directly supervise and support our team of Market Supervisors and Buspersons in providing top-notch customer service that aligns with our service standards and specifications. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining the Market common areas and equipment, enforcing company standards and procedures, and scheduling and staffing based on business needs. You will also work closely with our event booking agent to ensure the smooth execution of public and private events held at the Market and ensure guest/client satisfaction. Your exceptional leadership skills will be crucial in motivating and maintaining a cohesive team. By identifying and addressing training needs, you will contribute to the professional development of our staff. Above all, your dedication to providing an excellent guest and employee experience will be instrumental in ensuring guest and employee satisfaction and enhancing our reputation.
