Job Responsibilities:

Tasks may include but will not be limited to:

• Lead engineering changes as per Drive procedure - on time / within budget / within procedure / proper documentation that can easily pass any required audits - total coordination.
• APQP and FMEA lead for engineering changes.
• Lead monthly RPN reduction meetings based upon high RPN values, customer concerns, high scrap rates and other concerns.
• Ensure feasibility studies and team review is completed as per engineering procedures.
• Weekly engineering change meeting attendance.
• Weekly meet and greet with partner production teams / leads to ensure they feel supported properly by engineering
• Perform other duties as required.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor Degree in a technical related discipline or 5-7 years related automotive experience with sound understanding of BIW build fit & function.

TECHNICAL TRAINING:

• Must have an understanding in the following areas, die / die process, assembly tooling, welding & sealer applications, CMM & datum alignment, data processing & reporting, customer tolerancing concepts

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Project, Word.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership skills

Pay range: $65,000 - $85,000
