Position Summary:
The Test Engineer is responsible for developing and executing tests to ensure that product quality and reliability meet customer specifications and requirements. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify testing needs, create test procedures, and analyze results. The Test Engineer will also engage in troubleshooting and problem-solving to enhance product performance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install and troubleshoot testing equipment.
- Create and/or revise Acceptance, as well as Qualification Test Procedures/Reports.
- Exposure and understanding of analog and digital test equipment.
- Exposure to National Instruments Lab View software development languages
- Motivated hands-on people to drive improvements in a challenging environment.
- Provide clear and concise communications.
- Ability to manage priorities and competing demands easily and effectively.
- Assist in the maintenance of test lab equipment
- Upgrade and repair software and hardware of data acquisition computer systems
- Maintain database of instrumentation used in test department
- Research new instrumentation
- Review calibration of test instruments to verify compliance with quality assurance and customer requirements
- Troubleshoot test set ups to find sources of error.
- Ability to travel to test labs to support testing.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field. Preferably Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry, such as, Military, Aerospace, Nuclear, Automotive, or other similar.
- Due to ITAR Restrictions, an export license may be required.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Due to contracts with the United States Government, the candidate must be either a US Citizen or Green card holder.
