High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing/Soldering Trainer. The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nationâ€™s fundamental defense services. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
Will assist their team mates in developing hand soldering skills
Performs on-the-job training, skills training, and/or classroom training in assembly/production areas
Participates in the development and implementation of new training programs
May introduce new processes and sequences for manufacturing areas
Maintains rosters of training progress, examination records, and certification records
May monitor trainees progress to verify training effectiveness
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficient in hand soldering
General experience with various computer applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Factory Management Systems, etc.)
General understanding of general aspects of the jobs to be trained with a broad understanding of the detailed aspects of the job
Familiarity with various learning styles
Ability to interpret and communicate detailed information clearly and perceive if it is being understood
General interpersonal skills
Ability to use multiple forms of communicate to meet the learners needs
Ability to work effectively a with a variety of levels of personnel
PREFERRED DEGREE TYPES AND EXPERIENCE:
Candidates must have a strong soldering background.
