Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for continuous improvement, Lean methodologies, and Six Sigma? We're looking for a Program Manager for Lean Six Sigma to lead impactful, strategic projects and process improvements across multiple sites and functions within our organization. This role will be key in advancing our business performance through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and growth.
About the Role:
In this position, you will develop and implement a Lean Manufacturing strategy that spans across departments and locations. You’ll facilitate training programs in Lean principles, such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Six Sigma, while leading initiatives to improve automation, assembly processes, and overall operational excellence.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute a global Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma program, including strategy development, training, and implementation.
- Oversee Lean training and certification programs, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiencies, drive cost savings, and elevate quality standards.
- Lead Kaizen events and other CI activities to boost productivity and eliminate waste.
- Track and report progress on Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to the executive team, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
- Mentor and coach site leadership and staff on CI methodologies and Lean best practices.
Qualifications:
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research, or a related discipline. An MS in Engineering or MBA is preferred.
- Experience
- Minimum of 10 years in manufacturing or engineering management, with at least 5 years of experience leading Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
- Certifications
- Lean Master/Specialist Certification required; Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred).
- Skills
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industrial Engineering principles; experience with quality systems and proficiency in change management, project management, and data analysis.
