About the Job
Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation: Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines. Monitor equipment performance, make adjustments as needed, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Production Monitoring: Monitor production processes and parameters, such as temperature, pressure, flow rates, and product quality indicators. Perform regular inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
Material Handling: Handle raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods in accordance with standard procedures. Follow material handling protocols, including storage, labeling, and transportation, to prevent contamination and ensure product integrity.
Process Control: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to control and optimize manufacturing processes. Record process data, maintain production logs, and document deviations or abnormalities for further investigation.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Follow proper safety procedures for handling chemicals, operating equipment, and responding to emergencies.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize equipment, work areas, and production facilities to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as equipment lubrication, calibration, and minor repairs, to ensure optimal performance.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including production supervisors, quality control inspectors, and maintenance technicians, to coordinate production activities and address operational issues. Communicate effectively to share information, provide feedback, and support team goals.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggest ideas for innovation, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certification in manufacturing or related field is a plus.
Previous experience in manufacturing or production operations
Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and processes, including operation of machinery, understanding of process flows, and basic troubleshooting skills.
Ability to follow detailed instructions, work accurately with minimal supervision, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, with a focus on ensuring product integrity and compliance with standards.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
