1. Summary:
Develop, Implement and maintain processes through work instructions, process flow, continuous improvement and root cause corrective actions in a printed circuit board assembly environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design, Implement, evaluate manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters.
• Interface with Internal and external customers to determine technical specifications, Test /Implement/Document/Solutions to ensure quality compliance.
• Support introduction of new products by setting up the tooling and processes.
• Train production teams in new product/processes, key metrics, and change orders.
• Support Design for Manufacturability process and feedback.
• Define manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, fixturing and methods.
• Interface with customers and suppliers on technical issues.
• Supports automated program development.
• Identify and recommend efficiency and quality improvements in production and repair operations.
• Develop techniques for tools, fixtures, processes and procedures for handling and repairing of PCBA and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Report on project details and status.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB. JOB DESCRIPTION SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMPLETE LISTING OF ALL MISCELLANEOUS, INCIDENTAL OR OTHER DUTIES THAT MAY BE ASSIGNED DURING NORMAL OPERATIONS.
2. Requirements:
* ~5% Travel Required (Domestic and International)
Education:
• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree and experience.
Experience:
• 2-3 years of practical experience supporting Manufacturing and/or Service businesses. Experience with Electronics Manufacturing Service industry is a plus.
• Proficiency to prepare electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, flow diagrams, adhesive bonding, mechanical press, GD&T.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite software products is a plus.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standard, quality management system (QMS) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of 5S Lean Six Sigma practices is a plus.
• Experience in Agile or similar documentation/PLM system is a plus.
Special Skills:
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Ability to work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines.
• Ability to work with in fast paced, flexible environment.
• Has willingness to take initiative, and execute continuous improvement plans.
