About the Job
Process Engineer
At this client, you’ll be the Process Engineer of a state of the art manufacturing facility in the Aerospace, Defense, Robotics and Oil and Gas Industries. Their clients determine the specifications of the parts and our team will make small, high quality production runs of only a few dozen.
The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, improving, and implementing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and safety. They also ensure that manufacturing processes meet regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 or more years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- 2 or more years of experience using a CAD software (AutoDesk, AutoCAD or similar)
Responsibilities
- Develop and Improve Manufacturing Processes.
- Design specialty fixtures and tooling in Solid Works
- Update methods to incorporate new technologies
- Research part history and incorporate lessons learned on repeat orders
- Create new processes and Manufacturing Work Instructions
- Work with and develop network of subcontracting resources
- Utilize CTM total knowledge base
- Conduct and Communicate Project Risk Assessments
- Work with Operations Manager, Team Leaders and Manufacturing Department Supervisors to mitigate risks using CTM existing forms
- Help develop PFMEA and PPAP strategies and implementation
- Participating in Quality Clinics
