About the Job
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and operations to optimize manufacturing processes
- Conduct process simulations, time studies, and capacity analysis to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce production costs and improve productivity
- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing methods, tools, and equipment
- Use statistical analysis and process control techniques to monitor and validate manufacturing process performance
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all manufacturing processes
- Train and mentor production operators on new tools, equipment, and processes
- Participate in the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to optimize the supply chain and improve quality and delivery performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering within the Aviation & Aerospace industry
- Proficiency in process simulation software such as Arena, Matlab, or SIMUL8
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools
- Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Experience with project management and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma)
- Proven track record of driving process optimization and cost reduction initiatives
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed
