Manufacturing and Process Engineer
Coilcraft, Inc., a distinguished organization with a rich history dating back to its founding in 1945, has established itself as a global leader in the manufacturing of magnetic components. We specialize in producing high-performance RF chip inductors, power magnetics, and filters, with our corporate headquarters located in Cary, Illinois. At Coilcraft, we are currently seeking a talented Process and Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in the custom machine design and Engineering department.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with local engineering teams and various site plant managers to execute and ensure the efficacy of production methods and processes for intricate projects and product lines.
Propose and implement manufacturing process enhancements, focusing on cost reductions and operational efficiencies, leveraging expertise in product design, materials, production equipment capabilities, and quality control methodologies.
Generate cost quotations that uphold product reliability and performance standards while minimizing overall expenses.
Contribute to project management efforts for the advancement of new automation initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Previous exposure to project management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with high-speed automation machinery is a plus.
- Proficient in analytical thinking with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capable of performing effectively under pressure.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
