Selectek has an immediate opportunity for a Manufacturing/Process Engineer in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will serve as the primary interface between the Design and Development team to help drive new products and processes with the plant floor. You must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States to be considered.
Responsibilities:
Pay and Wages: $90,000 - $100,000 annual salary depending on education and experience

Responsibilities:
- Main liaison to operations for D&D process.
- Provide plant support for all new product scale-ups and raw material introductions.
- Interact with R&D and taking projects to operations.
- Work with Plant Managers and their teams to identify opportunities for improving production efficiencies, product quality, safety of the processes and reductions in operating expenses.
- Support Operational SAP requirements, including user training, process support and process development.
- Collect, analyze and display data to improve daily operational efficiency.
- Provide support to daily production operations.
- Identify training needs and develop or update training and standard operating procedures for employees to ensure continuous process improvement.
- Support Production Process Control Systems.
- Provide support to plant Maintenance group.
- Work closely with Project Engineers to ensure successful start-up of new equipment.
- Provide support for annual operational and capital budget planning processes.
- Support safety committees finding to help with implementation of safety improvements, etc.
- Review new and existing layouts of machines, equipment, and plant storage locations identifying opportunities to improve performance. Work closely with production teams and engineering; recommend and implement changes.
- Lead projects targeting improvements in plant housekeeping and overall appearance of the facility.
- Conduct vendor audits to ensure compliance with Sto requirements. Manage vendors and contractors as needed to ensure compliance with companys health and safety standards and to monitor progress toward project completion within agreed upon timeframe and budget.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering OR equivalent related experience
- 4 - 7 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- ISO 9001 / 14001 experience preferred.
- Process improvement methodology experience (Lean, Kaizen etc.)
- Must be willing to do hands-on work in a production facility to support production, engineering, and maintenance in the installation/repair/troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated skills using MS 365 (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish speaking) a plus.
- Capable of analyzing data and developing sound conclusions based on that data.
- Able to anticipate operational problems and act on those intuitions.
- Capable of working well in teams and independently.
- Able to react to situations in a timely manner and be flexible with people and operational assets.
- Travel approximately 20-30%. Mostly to other U.S. facilities
