Job Title: Post-Graduate/Post-Doctoral Research Scientist, Sterile Product Development
Onsite Role
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, Business Hours
We are seeking a highly motivated post-graduate student or postdoctoral level scientist to join the Sterile Product Development organization at Client's New Brunswick, NJ site. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and performing analytical studies in support of co-formulated biologics. The primary application will focus on various forms of chromatography such as SEC, HIC, IEX, and RPLC. 2D separations will be in scope as well. In additional to planning and conducting experiments, this position will involve collaborative interactions with multidisciplinary teams across Sterile Product Development and the broader Product Development organization to ensure awareness of emerging capabilities and technologies. This is a full-time position for a 1 year duration.
Key Responsibilities
Detailed experimental design and data interpretation.
Independently analyze, review and document scientific procedures and data in compliance with Product Development standards.
Develop fit-for-purpose methodologies and workflows for analyzing co-formulated biologics.
Communication of results to project teams, collaborators, and stakeholders.
Literature review and working knowledge of evolving landscape and technologies relevant to co-formulated biologics.
Champion for laboratory safety and organization.
Qualifications & Experience
Current enrollment in a graduate degree program (M.S. or Ph.D.) with expected graduation in 2024 (or completion of a graduate degree program) in biological sciences with a demonstrated emphasis in general analytical techniques (preferred) or chromatographic separations (highly preferred).
Completion of at least first year in an accredited graduate degree program.
Experience in wet lab experimentation, analysis & interpretation of results.
Working knowledge of protein structure, chemical, and physical attributes.
Demonstrated problem solving skills and strong desire to grow scientifically.
Availability for full-time employment (40 hrs/week) throughout the 12-month program period.
Ability to work on-site at Client's New Brunswick, NJ campus is a must. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required, along with ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
