JOB DETAILS:

Assembly -

• This is a a very fast paced working environment. You must be able to keep up.
• You must have good eye, hand coordination as there is very heavy lifting involved in this position.
• You must also be very safety conscious and produce good quality work.
• You must be able to stand throughout your entire shift .
• You must be able to follow directions and work instructions.
• You must be a great team player and committed to working safely.
• You must be willing and available to work overtime as we have mandatory overtime from time to time.
• You must be able to lift at minimum 40lbs. as you will be performing heavy assembly with very large truck parts.
•  You must not mind getting a little dirty.
• Mechanical skills are a plus.

Switcher/ Yard Jockey -

• You will perform a variety of duties including operating a spotter truck.
• Maneuver tractors and trailers in the yard for fueling, cleaning and loading.
• You must have some commercial driving experience in a vehicle of similar size, weight, and controls as a terminal tractor and proficiency in backing trailers into dock doors and parking slips.
• You must demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
• You must have great communication skills and be able to converse with diverse audiences.
• You must have the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• You must be committed to building strong, collaborative relationships with the employer, colleagues and outside vendors.
• You must be committed to working safely and follow directions from Supervisors.
• You must cooperate well with mechanics to make sure trailers are in good working order.

Pay range varies based on experience - $12.25 to $15.50.to start. Plus a $0.50 Attendance bonus.
