Job Title:         Manufacturing/Operational Excellence (Continuous Improvement) Consultant
Location:         Atlanta, GA 30354
Duration:         06 Months Contract
Hours:             09:00 AM to 05:00 PM (Mon -Fri) with occasional early starts. 
Pay rate:            $60/ hr on W2 to $75/ hr on W2

Description:

• Reach optimal operational performance and efficient utilization of the manufacturing assets in our syrup plant, considering all aspects of Manufacturing Excellence
• Provide methods and tools for improvement of practices; provide tools for measuring and optimizing plant performance. Review, assess and develop optimum organizational structures.
• Review facility capability and environment (e.g., technology, systems, quality, cost, efficiencies, yield, Warehousing & Distribution) in order to recommend process improvements. Develop process improvement initiatives to benefit the client North America (CCNA) system and Customers by directing supply chain activities, involving external suppliers, functional peers, customer teams and/or cross functional teams.
• Ensure compliance to corporate and Plant standards to provide consistent measuring, monitoring and improvement of performance whilst safeguarding people, products and assets.
• Support optimization of plant complexity, lines, machine layout and design; Conduct workload studies.
• Ensure standards and performance measures in place. Support plant in our usage of performance measures.
• Develop continuous improvement plans and projects by translating business objectives into actionable projects.

                   
Profiles are we looking for

• University Degree (Food Engineering, Engineering or related fields)
• Practical experience in problem solving as a CL leader and coach (DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). VSM etc.
• Experience in business transformation and process improvement
• Experience in training and coaching on management practices (OMP, Performance Measures, Operational Reviews, Standard Routines)
• Minimum Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (in company programs ok)
• Proficient User - MS Office, SAP
• Warehouse optimization experience a strong plus
