Location: Cranbury, NJ
Schedule / Hours: Monday - Friday. 7 AM - 3:30 PM (Must be able to work a flexible schedule including alternating weekends and holidays when needed)

Responsibilities
At the direction of the Director of Operations, the person in this role ensures the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by scheduling and managing the maintenance technicians in completing corrective maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting. MUST HAVE Food Industry experience!
NOTE: This is the hierarchy of skills required for this role: Electrical work, Plumbing, machine, gearbox, and HVAC.

Responsibilities
At the direction of the Director of Operations, the person in this role ensures the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by scheduling and managing the maintenance technicians in completing corrective maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting. MUST HAVE Food Industry experience!
- Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment within the manual’s prescribed period.
- Review the maintenance plans and call in outside contractors when necessary to meet firm deadlines on repairs.
- Develop and maintain required documentation including maintenance SOPs in FT Maintenance Software program.
- Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections.
- Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions. Complete repairs and parts replacements.
- Supervise effectively other team members in a loud environment.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working with other members of the team or where needed.
- Repair, install, adjust, or maintain machines or vehicles.
- Complete written records of work performed as well as entry into the PM software.
- Complete preventative maintenance on food production line equipment as established in department procedures and audits, as required by regulatory agencies.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts, consumables, and change tooling equipment.
- Assist in the installation, assembly and testing of new machines and equipment when necessary.

- High School Diploma required
- General mechanical knowledge
- Electrical troubleshooting and experience with Industrial Electrical Knowledge (480v) on panels, conveyors, motors, sensors
- Mechanical maintenance- pumps, gears, motors, sprockets
- Must be capable of working independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Computer Literate – Capability and Familiarity in a Windows environment is a must.
- Not afraid to jump in and diagnose and fix a problem
- Must be willing to work outdoors as necessary.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including alternating weekends and holidays when needed
- Understanding on assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems, according to specifications or plumbing codes.
- Knowledge of Fast Track Maintenance Software a plus.
- Experience in the food industry required
