Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Manager

Reports To: Management

Qualifications: College Degree preferred, but not required.

Must be a Journeyman Tradesman with at least 3 years’ experience

General Summary:

Responsible for the supervision of skilled tradesmen, troubleshooting and repairing all machines in our plants.

Principal Duties:

• Supervise hourly maintenance employees.
• Supervise and repair machines and production equipment.
• Enforce Company personnel policy.
• Log and prioritize Work Orders to facilitate timely repair.
• CAD Design.
• Purchase components.
• Assemble and install production machines and equipment.
• Assemble electrical panels, fluid power circuits.
• Contact vendors for machine controls, software, and spare parts.
• Train maintenance apprentices.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Robotic Programming. (Fanuc)
• PLC Programming. (Allen-Bradly, Siemens)
• Mitsubishi programming for HMI & CPU.
• Cognex and Keyence IV software programming.
• Cutting and Welding Laser Applications.
• Proficient with Electrical Schematics and machine blueprints.
• Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical.
• Experience with Fixed spindle 3 Axis machining of Aluminum and Steel.

Working Conditions:

Industrial plant setting; continuous exposure to noise. Safety protection required. (safety shoes, ear protection and safety glasses.) Must strive for continuous improvement. Overtime required.
