About the Job
Job Summary:
As part of the MES team, you will be at the forefront of deploying, integrating, and managing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions within the manufacturing environment. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic vision to ensure the seamless integration and running of Rockwell Automation – FactoryTalk Production Centre (FTPC) MES solution with other major applications, such as Oracle EBS, WMS, and OPP.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Equipment, and Facilities departments, capturing and documenting detailed requirements
- Perform application support duties for the manufacturing execution system (FTPC-MES) as needed
- Develop standards and best practices for development and validation activities
- Lead cross-functional teams through design reviews and user acceptance testing during the development and validation process
- Perform and communicate planning, development, peer review, and testing solutions for recipe creation and modification
- Execute development and implementation of new capabilities across the Manufacturing systems based on requirements, specifications, and developed software solutions
- Develop FTPC-MES solutions including recipe, configuration and/or system changes to meet business requirements
- Create and execute system test and/or operational qualification scripts to challenge the business and technical requirements
- Participate in facility operational meetings to ensure facility reporting needs are met
- Assure quality service to all customers
- Position also requires availability to support 2nd shift manufacturing operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of Rockwell – FactoryTalk Production Centre (FTPC) MES Tool
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good Understanding of manufacturing process, ERP, and integrations with other systems

Working conditions:
- Able to work extended hours as needed
- Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, and extreme noise
- Must wear protective equipment while at the location
- May be required to work after hours and on weekends or holidays
Physical requirements:
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
