One of the US leading SDVOSB defense contractors is hiring a cost Manufacturing Engineering Cost Analyst for our US Navy business in Chelmsford, Mass.
Business Model:
Our business model is build to print high reliability, mission critical electronic assemblies which includes pcba’s, cables, harnesses, and box build for the US Navy
Summary of Duties:
Responsible for timely and accurate submission of bid packages to sales in response to customer RFQs. Develops cost estimates for circuit card assemblies, backplanes, cables, and harnesses. Standard labor time and costed bills of materials by evaluating the customer’s documentation package.
Specific Tasks:
- Reviews customers’ request for quotation ensuring information is complete, e.g., statement of work, quantities, special instructions. .
- Develop costed BOM for electronic parts/manager approval.
- Submits BOM’s to software industry quoting tool such as QFX which are developed by engineering.
- Formulate pricing based on developed material, labor, and NRE costs utilizing appropriate rates.
- Work closely with internal organizations such as Purchasing, Engineering, test, manufacturing, etc.
- Work closely with customers on an as needed basis.
Required:
Three year’s experience in the electronics including circuit card assemblies, backplanes, cables, and harnesses industry.Advanced skills in WORD and EXCEL Experience in reading electrical blueprints/specs. Strong analytical mandatory.
Understanding of backplane, CCA’s, cables/harnesses, box build assembly.
- Exceptional excel skills
Benefits:
- Salary range $75,000 to $85,000.
