Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity!
An employee owned and operated manufacturer is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. The company is a leader in their respective market and committed to providing excellence and a family-friendly culture.
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:
- Assist Production in meeting schedule and solving/preventing problems.
- Lead and Contribute improvement projects assigned by Engineering Manager or Plant Manager
- Participate in concurrent Engineering Design Reviews.
- Evaluate and approve drawings, routings, specs, BOMs, BOOs, and other documents.
- Responsible for the Development of Engineering Work Instructions
- Train assemblers, welders, polishers when introducing new processes and/or new hires.
- Prepare and assist in manufacturing prototypes.
- Test prototypes and document accordingly, store information as directed.
- Design and Procure Tools/Equipment
- Present up to 2x per month to members of Manufacturing Leadership (15-20+ people)
Manufacturing Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related fields is required.
- 5+ years of experience required.
- CNC machine tool compentence, set up, proof out, program, troubleshoot processes
- Ability to work fluently with Microsoft Office and ERP Systems is highly preferred.
- Project Management experience is preferred.
