Summary
Manufacture Engineer that design, program, simulate and test automated machinery and processes in order to complete exact tasks.
Job Duties
- Work with ME teams to improve manufacturing testing processes, increasing productivity and quality through automation testing. Troubleshoot software related issues and take preventive actions.
- Work with R&D teams to develop automation-testing processes for new products and create testing software through LabVIEW or other programming software based on new product requirements.
- Provide feedback to mechanical design colleagues on existing station or new design system with mechanical related issues.
- Monitor/participate in the commissioning and post-maintenance of the automation system.
- 5 ~ 10% international travel is expected for this position.
- Other duties as needed or required.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 2 years plus in programming and engineering work
- Working experience with Common programming language knowledge such as LabVIEW programming, C++, VBA, or SoildWorks
- Circuit design experience is a plus.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to manage multiple/concurrent projects.
- Able to lift or move equipment up to 35 pounds
Location
This position will be full time and on-site at our Sugar Land, Texas location.
