Manufacturing Engineer - CapstoneONE Search

An established, global manufacturing organization is actively seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for their flagship facility. Our client is the global leader in their space and have an outstanding culture predicated on compensation, benefits, and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Industrial and Process Improvement initiatives in an effort to improve plant KPI's
• Participate in equipment specification, selection, layout and installation.
• Maintain list of equipment suppliers. Identify new suppliers and verify capabilities
• Support all departments within the manufacturing facility providing technical expertise and leadership.
• Develops and establishes best manufacturing practices, standards, processes, procedures and assures their effective implementation and on-going review.
• Evaluates equipment, operational sequences, and material flows to determine employee job functions and identify opportunities for automation
• Work to improve product quality, reduce scrap, and improved machine uptime by implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• 2-5+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
