Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in the industrial manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning, supporting, and improving manufacturing equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Standup and commission new energetics processing equipment
- Author Maintenance and Operational work instructions and other documentation
- Design, develop, and implement innovative solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.
- Provide technical leadership in the selection, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
- Develop and maintain detailed process documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production, to ensure seamless integration of new processes and equipment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other data-driven methodologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and develop corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronix Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role within an industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology.
- Proficiency in CAD software and experience with process simulation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and implement process improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry safety standards.
Preferred:
- Experience processing energetics, munitions, or other hazardous materials
- Knowledge of DoD 4145 manual
- Experience with Fanuc robot programming
