About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Engineer and refine manufacturing procedures for product enhancements, modifications, and new introductions, ensuring alignment with zero-defect standards and cost minimization.
- Offer technical assistance to the production team by diagnosing and rectifying production challenges.
- Spearhead initiatives to advance continuous production and manufacturing methodologies, aiming to boost operational efficiency.
- Facilitate collaboration among multidisciplinary teams to certify that products adhere to engineering and quality benchmarks.
- Craft and uphold comprehensive documentation governing manufacturing processes and protocols.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing setting, with a preference for backgrounds in deep draw stamping or analogous precision metal forming technologies.
- Proficient understanding of lean manufacturing ideologies and Six Sigma methodology.
- Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and expertise in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.
- Exceptional communication prowess and a proven track record of effective teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software beyond basic proficiency.
- Previous involvement in cross-functional project management.
- Familiarity with ISO quality standards and experience in quality assurance procedures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
