We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position in the fast-paced construction industry, where you will play a significant role in ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Lean Sigma, and Green Belt. ASQ certification and a demonstrated history of improving processes are also essential for this role. This position requires at least 3+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency.
Ensure the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively and are responsible for the development of equipment to aid in the manufacturing process.
Review and plan process flow, equipment layout, and project proposals to ensure high-quality standards are met.
Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures into manufacturing environments.
Analyze manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
Collaborate with configuration control and design engineering regarding product tooling and design to ensure effectual production methods.
Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
Confer with vendors in determining product specifications and arranging equipment, parts, or material purchase, and evaluate products according to quality standards and specifications.
Estimate staffing requirements, production times, and relative costs to provide data for operational decisions.
Work closely with other engineers and professionals in the development of new products and in the resolution of technical difficulties experienced in the current manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Lean Sigma, Green Belt.
ASQ certification is a must.
Proven track record of successfully implementing and improving manufacturing processes.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
Strong project management skills and ability to apply the principles of project management to implement changes and achieve objectives.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using various software applications including Microsoft Office and CAD.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality outputs.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Understanding of health and safety regulations in the manufacturing industry.
Proven ability to drive continuous improvement activities at all levels of the organization.
Must be highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.
