Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional hands-on mechanical, manufacturing, or design engineer working on mechanical systems.
Experience creating technical specifications for automated manufacturing equipment.
Experience introducing new products and processes from a prototype environment to a production environment.
Experience providing Design for Manufacturability and Automation.
Experience designing production line layouts in AutoCAD.
Proficiency in designing mechanical equipment, fixturing, and tooling in CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
Well-organized with meticulous attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities And Expectations

Analyzes and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Develops clear and concise work instructions for production processes and continuously audit and update existing SOPs.
Evaluates quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements.
Utilizes Six Sigma and lean manufacturing tools to reduce downtime.
Implements and maintains 5S on the production floor.
Establishes and maintains data collection and performance measurements to track performance in key areas.
Investigates production issues and recommend and implement corrective actions.
Leads the initiative of ISO-9001.
Designs and produces manufacturing tooling and bench testing quality control equipment for our products.
Interacts and collaborates with team members to create the most user-friendly and reliable applications possible.
Supports Manufacturing Manager or designee, as required.
